Epic trobbles are part of the "global loot table", which is loot that can potentially drop from just about any monster located in a non-dungeon area and normally drops XP and/or gold.
The best hunting grounds are non-dungeon maps where you can kill a lot of monsters quickly and constantly. Here are some great options:
Hat Hatch
Monster level range: 50
Tactics: Hat Hatch is a small map filled with monsters that you can ceaselessly fight. Since all the monsters are level 50, working with a party will make this much faster; just make sure everyone gets a hit on each monster to ensure everyone gets the loot.
Access:
Travel Menu > Town of Battleon > Main Square > Barber Shop
Talk to Hatrick, the Man of Hats and select "Travel to the Tomb of the Hat"
Tactics: Use AOE attacks on the circle of 12 Void Knights. We suggest Oracle's Time Vortex AOE attack and comboing with Reset Variance to reset its cooldown timer early. The Void Knights will respawn after just a few seconds.
NOTE: this is a solo instance map
Access:
Travel Menu > Town of Battleon > Main Square > Yulgar's Inn
Talk to Arathor Havenshield in Yulgar's Inn and choose "Travel to the Treefern Ravine"
Run into the farthest right waterfall in the lake, which is out and to the right from the spawn point (see Treefern Ravine map for details)
From the travel menu that opens after running into the waterfall, choose "Enter the Hideout"
The Waterfall Hideout has 3 sections; Run to the 3rd section, which will have a group of 12 Void Knights
Voiddiver Landing Zone / Offense
Monster levels: Scale up to level 43
Tactics: The monsters here are mostly in large groups and respawn quickly. Utiliize AOE attacks to take advantage of the tight clusters of monsters.
Access: Travel Menu > Special Locations > Voiddiver Landing Zone
Legendary Trobbles
Legendary trobbles are dropped by specific bosses or special chests.
Trobble 0 ⬩ Amazing Chest
The 0 Alma trobble drops from Amazing Chests, which are special chests occasionially summoned by AQ3D staff during special in-game events.
Lumenion is a level 53 boss that you can repeatedly battle. He respawns 30 seconds after being defeated.
Tactics:
Lumenion can be defeated with any number of players, but the more you have the faster you'll go. Solo runs are possible, but are very slow and tedious.
There are 2 “cheese” strategies to make defeating him much easier, the simpler of which is to have your party stand on the rock platform with 2 small lanterns on the left side of the map, then lure him over. This will let you keep out of his melee attack range and it’s simple to avoid his ranged attacks.
Access:
Travel Menu > Mysterious Island > Atlantis
Turn around and run into the yellow travel line to enter Shadow of the Wind Village on Yokai
Talk to Artix and select "Fight Lumenion"
Trobble-Related Drop:
Lumenion also drops the Starlight Vault Key, which is one of the four keys needed to access Death’s Vault, which is where you’ll find the boss that drops trobble #77.
Serpnaut is a level 52 boss at the end of the Deep Grotto dungeon.
Tactics:
For speed, a full party is best since you have to battle through the dungeon’s 2 other bosses first. It’s definitely doable with less players (even solo), but it’s much slower.
To expedite unlocking Serpnaut’s chamber, run past the monsters and just take down the two bosses, Clawgrah and Vile Deep Hydra. With 3 or more in a party, split into 2 groups and to take down the bosses simultaneously. (With an odd number in your party, send the extra player to Clawgrah.)
Access:
Travel Menu > Mysterious Island > Heroes Cove
Run to the Deep Grotto dungeon enterance off the coast, underwater.
Trobble-Related Drop:
Serpnaut also drops the Sea Serpent’s Vault Key, which is one of the four keys needed to access Death’s Vault, which is where you’ll find the boss that drops trobble #77.
Doomed Kurohane is a level 53 Challenge boss that you can repeatedly battle. He respawns 37 seconds after being defeated.
Tactics:
Each battle is going to take a few minutes, at least. Ideally you want a full party of 5, but it's doable with 4 or even 3 in a pinch. Any less is going to take a lot of time and really increase the risk of a party wipe and boss reset.
Use a ranged class (including Samurai’s ranged stance) with good DPS. You'll be moving and dodginig a lot so having ranged attacks is important.
Use the basic skill "Mark" on Kurohane when Lumenion attacks for the first time to maximize his damage.
Space out from others to help minimize damage when Kurohane uses Doom Vortex (where each player has an impending red circle of damage around them)
Access:
Requirement: You must first complete the questlines from the Isle of Titans / Island of Friendship to unlock the challenge.
Travel Menu > Isle of Titans > Island of Friendship
Talk to Miku Umishinobi or Lars Boatmen and select "Travel to the Island of Titans"
Talk to Kaito or Iron Marty and select "Master Kurohane Found!", then "Confront Master Kurohane"
Trobble-Related Drop:
Kurohane also drops the Warrior's Vault Key, which is one of the four keys needed to access Death’s Vault, which is where you’ll find the boss that drops trobble #77.
Doomed Mordred is a level 53 Challenge boss that you can repeatedly battle.

Travel Menu > Isle of Titans > Island of Friendship
Talk to Miku Umishinobi or Lars Boatmen and select "Travel to the Island of Titans"
Talk to Kaito or Iron Marty and select "Mordred Blackthorn Found!", then "Confront Mordred"
Trobble-Related Drop:
Mordred also drops the Father's Vault Key, which is one of the four keys needed to access Death’s Vault, which is where you’ll find the boss that drops trobble #77.
Lanceler is a level 53 Challenge boss that you can repeatedly battle. He respawns 1 minute after being defeated.
Tactics:
There is a “cheese” strategy that you'll see most groups use to get him stuck at the doorway and make defeating him much easier. Even with this strategy, you’ll still want to run this with a group of at least 3. It’s possible to solo and duo this way, but it just takes a lot of time.
Run to Faeroot, then into the Tomb of Sir Lanceler (map)
Talk to Sir Arthur Lanceler in the Central Chamber and choose “A Greater Trial”
Trobble-Related Drop:
Mordred also drops the Father's Vault Key, which is one of the four keys needed to access Death’s Vault, which is where you’ll find the boss that drops trobble #77.
Archer of Death is a level 53 boss that you can summon in Death's Vault.
The Archer is summoned by having 100+ skulls (dropped by Acolytes of Death in Death's Vault) in your inventory and interacting with the pile of skulls in Death's Vault.
Summoning consumes 100 skulls, so you'll want to spend some time first farming skulls, ideally with a full party. Skulls are a shared drop, so the bigger your party, the more summons you get for the same effort.
Tactics:
This is a straightforward boss; just attack and dodge incoming attacks.
The Archer can be soloed with enough time, but obviously goes faster with larger parties.
Access:
Requirement: You must have 4 keys, which drop for 4 different bosses
Travel Menu > Town of Battleon > Battleon Cemetery
With the 4 required keys in your inventory, interact with the pedestal outside the standalone building on the upper area of the cemetery to open a portal.
Once the portal opens in the building's doorway, walk in to enter Death's Vault.
Super Tengu is a level 29 Challenge boss that you can repeatedly battle, but has 3 stages that appear throughout a maze-like map filled with deadly traps.
Offer a lot of grace to your party! Super Tengu's map is a maze FILLED with traps and you will 100% trigger traps that will kill you and party members.
Make sure everyone is present for the 3rd stage of the boss! Players don't get loot if they don't hit the 3rd stage boss. It may take time for all players to arrive at the 3rd location and that's okay. Don't be a jerk and leave someone out due to impatience.
Tactics:
Tengu randomly appears in 1 of 3 locations for each of the 3 stages of the challenge. See our map for details.
With a larger party, spread out and have players camp out the 3 locations to quickly get through the first 2 stages of the challenge.
When on the 3rd phase, send a message to your party identifying the location and wait for everyone to arrive before battling. Players that don't get a hit in don't get loot.
Common terms for the 3 locations:
Hill (abbreviated as "h")
Tree (abbreviated as "t")
Bridge (abbreviated as "b")
Access:
Travel Menu > Mysterious Islands > Yokai Island
Run to Yokai Forest
Run to Daitengu's Bamboo Forest gate and select "Daitengu's Challenge"
Arcade Death of Games is a level 42 Challenge boss.
Each time you enter the challenge, you'll have to run through a small obstacle course to reach the boss.
Tactics:
To get through the map faster, use basic or class skills that give you temporary speed boosts, like Dash, Quickstep, Sprint (Ninja), or Rush.
If you feel confident in your parkour skills, you can save some time on the platform maze section by jumping a large gap with Samurai's Wind Cutter skill.
Access:
Travel Menu > Town of Battleon > Battleon Main Square > Yulgar's Inn
Talk to Beleen and select "Adventure #6 The Death of Games", then "Play Death of Games!"
Interact with the Portal Fragment and select "Death of Games Boss Fights", then "Extreme Fight - Arcade Challenge"
Trobble 81 can drop from any of the various Shrade bosses that randomly spawn on the seasonal map of Camp Gonnagetcha
It can also drop from Shrade X, the scaled boss at the end of the Xenoscythe Spaceship dungeon, which is located in Camp Gonnagetcha
Tactics:
If hunting the trobble from the random Shrade spawns in Camp Gonnagetcha, one respawns ~5 minutes after being killed.
Running the Xenoscythe Spaceship dungeon gives you a consitent way to farm Shrade X for the trobble drop. (See Xenoscythe Spaceship map for details)
Access:
To access Camp Gonnagetcha, talk to Dottie, the seasonal NPC for Camp Gonnagetcha, in Battleon's main square and select "Go to Camp!"
To access the Xenoscythe Ship, run out to the crashed spaceship in the middle of the lake in Camp Gonnagetcha, talk to Laurie, then select "Enter the Ship"
The 100 Festive Alma trobble drops during the Frostval season from Amazing Chests, which are special chests occasionially summoned by AQ3D staff during special in-game events.
